Sunset Commons, Sunset Beach’s new upscale shopping center, will be anchored by a state-of-the art 40,000 square foot Lowes Foods grocery store.

Approximately 57% of the 70,000 square foot project is under lease. Other national chain categories reviewing lease proposals include a hair salon, video store, hardware store, ice cream and sandwich shop.  Out parcels could include a convenience store and bank.  The center is also being considered by a local pizza restaurant, ladies apparel store and tanning and nail spa.  The new center is now open and has a huge small business growth potential.

Sunset Commons is projected to reach more than 8,000 households in a mere three mile radius, including the Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach communities. The shopping center will be located at the intersection of Seaside Highway (Highway 904) and Old Georgetown Road, just outside of Sunset Beach.
