Born & raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, I first came to the Grand Stand of Myrtle Beach at age 3, when my Dad & I had to take shelter from Hurricane Hazel at Myrtle Beach High School. My family & I have visited this area every year of my life and some of my very best memories are of lazy, fun filled days spent on the white sandy beach. I purchased land in Ocean Isle Beach in 1973 and eventually moved permanently to the area in 1977. I left my job with Bell System, as a Central Office Repairman and moved to the beach with my husband, where we opened one of the very first golf club repair shops on the Grand Strand, The Shaft Shop. I have “worn many hats” during my years in the workplace, from Bell System to the Town of Sunset Beach  to Real Estate (and a few in between), but the path has always led me back to sales and customer service. I absolutely love working with people!

More than 30 years have now passed and during that time I have seen both Brunswick & Horry Counties grow from small, very seasonal resort areas to the thriving year around communities they are now.  Our neighbors now come from every corner of the world!
